a place where criminals are kept to punish them for
their crimes, or where people accused of crimes are
kept while waiting for their trials
wail (v.) 哭泣
to make a long, high cry, usually because of pain
or sadness
weep (v.) 無聲地哭泣
to cry tears
因冤罪而入jail的話,
會因為無法翻身而只能wail。
附註:黑子哭泣的時候不是wail而是默默地weep!
